Short version: we don't sell your data, we don't track you around the internet, and we collect as little as we can get away with. Long version below. "Glitchslap", "we" and "us" means the Glitchslap gallery at glitchslap.art.

This website

• No ads, no tracking pixels, no analytics cookies.
• Like every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and fault-finding. They're deleted on a rolling basis and never shared.

Email

If you email info@glitchslap.art, we keep your message and address so we can reply and keep track of the conversation. We don't add you to any mailing list unless you ask. Ask us to delete your emails and we will.

The Glitch List

If you join the Glitch List, we store your email address, whether you said you make art or just like it, the page you joined from and the time. We use it only to email you about Glitchslap: open calls, drops, shows and the virtual gallery. It sits on our own server, isn't shared or sold, and you can leave any time by replying STOP to any email.

Our YouTube tools

Glitchslap runs its own software to manage the Glitchslap YouTube channel (@glitchslapartgallery). It uses the YouTube API Services to upload and schedule our videos, update titles, descriptions and thumbnails, reply to comments, and read our channel's analytics.

• It only ever accesses Glitchslap's own YouTube channel. It does not ask for, collect or store anyone else's Google or YouTube account data.
• When it reads public comments on our videos to reply to them, those comments stay on YouTube and are not sold, shared or used for advertising.
• Access tokens are stored on our own server, readable only by the administrator, and are never shared with third parties.
• Use of the YouTube API Services is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Access can be revoked at any time from Google account permissions.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent personal data. We only share it if the law makes us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@glitchslap.art and we'll sort it within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this changes, the new version goes up here with a new date.
